I got a non obd b16 distributor and the plug with 8 wires from the dist. doesnt fit the plug from the harness in the engine bay. Could it be obd 1? I dont have my old one to compare with because it was stolen. Thanks for all help.

 

what car are you putting it in?

 

if its round white plug its non obd
and if it is round gray plugs its obd1 and up

 

The dist. is goin in a 91 crx si. The plug is beige or cream in color but is clearly not white or grey. Also the 2 wire plug fits, its just the 8 wire plug that doesnt work.

 

its an OBD0 Distributor that you need, I have the B16A1 with that distributor, and I just replaced mine about three hours ago, and that is one hard distributor to find, and when you find one, it aint cheap either.
