A few day ago I hit an Ice block and cracked the oil pan, oil light came on about 1 mile and then the engine died NO knocking or anything to that mattter.... had the oil pan fixed and refilled the oil, changed plugs, distrubotor is good... battery is carhged Changed oil pressure switch... Car sounds like it wants to kick over just won't Ran out of ideas what could be the problem.... ANyone have a clue???

its and old d16 engine from a 89 CRX (blew up the orignal engine a few years back) and when i had the oil pan fixed I was told it was throwing a code 22....

 

does it crank over??

did you reset the computer?? disconnect battery for 15 secs..

 

It cranks but doesn;t kick over... and yeah i up did the battery for like an hour yesterday and still same thing cranking but not kicking over.. i just unpluged the ECU and hope that will work... but doubt it

 

I reset the ECU and still not kicking over... Could it be a sensor or wiring somewhere?? ANy ideas... me and everyone I know can;t think of anything else...

 

check main relay and ignition fuse

 

Found out the problem yall the rings are shot and I'm getting no compression... so the engine is shot i've been told so time to start thinking about a swap.. Thinking h22.... or b16a
