car is a 08 tsx, but im sure it applies to more. Anyways, is the condenser fan suppose to engage when you turn the a/c on? Im pretty sure it is, but for some reason my gf's tsx fan doesnt turn on when i turn the a/c on, only the rad fan engages, any help appreciated

 

See if it gets voltage with the ac on. If it does the fan motor is bad. If it doesn't check the fuse, relay and switch.

 

Thank you sir, I will check the voltage. I know the relay and fuse is located in the engine bay fuse box, but where would I find the switch? Thank you


*edit* checked the voltage of the power supply with a/c on, and I get power, power goes away with a/c off, so im concluding that the fan motor is toast.. Kind of disappointed a 4 year old cars fan motor failed when I have friends with cars from the early 90's that have oem a/c components..
