Help code 43 plus other issues...
Ok i installed my new fuel rail a couple weeks back and i noticed that the o-ring on the top of 1 of the injectors was letting out air or whatever it was my tuner he could see it so it was replaced..
For some reason every since i keep getting a code 43 thats obviously some fuel code.. My tuner/builder told me don't worry about it to reset everything by unplugging the ECU and/or battery i did both.. It still will come back then i'll cut off the car cut it back on and its gone.. At this same time this stuff was done the o2 was taken off and put back on after my manifold was ceramic coated someone said it could be a 02 issue..
It also acts like it has a vacuum leak on my boost guage after warming up it'll idle from like 1k down to around .6 after driving around alittle and sometimes has cut off.. Up until then this thing ran perfect no problems at all..
I'm also trying to figure out where is the best place to run a vacuum source from to my fast-turbo vacuum manifold?? I have alot of nipples on my AEBS IM but did'nt no if it could run everything and still have good vacuum.. I need a good vacuum because i'm gonna be hooking up my AVCR I will have the 2 ports including the pressure signal for the AVCR in the vacuum manifold.. Along with the side WG port,BOV..
Any help,ideas??

Well, this sucks. I've had this code for a couple of months now and NO ONE seems to know anything about it, including tuners/mechanice I've spoken to. Now I'm seeing the drop in idle as well. Didn't have that before. I've already replaced my 02 sensor and had no luck. I picked up another one and will be trying that again just to see what that will do. My stock fuel pump has been replaced with a Walbro, but still I see that damn code. Blah.

i was getting a code 43 from a clogged cat. it went away as soon as i installed a test pipe and reset my ecu. it could be many other things, but don't overlook the cat converter.
much like "orb"...
i replaced my o2 sensor
and the code WENT AWAY ... for a good 3 months
but has since RETURNED
i too would like to know the root of this problem

code 43 is fuel system code.. this is anything from injectors to pump to relay to wiring.. any of it could cause the problem.. even the regulator for that matter.. its trial and error as far as i can tell from there.. i just picked up a teg with good ole 43.. it will sputter a bit in higher rpm
I tried cleaning my injectors by hand, but the code came back after 4 or 5 warm up cycles. Seems to have helped the idle issue though. Anyone else tried anything lately?
No one has had this issue? Really, I have looked everywhere it seems. I have asked a multitude of people, but to no avail. I have posted on a number of Honda-related sites, but I just get nothing back. Does anyone have any resources available to them that they might use to look into the issue for us? Say, for example, you work at a shop and can look at a manual or troubleshooting chart or something similiar? I recently went to the dealership and bought a new banjo nut/washer thinking that the small leak I noticed there may have caused the code, but... NOPE.
Nope, not the fuel pressure regulator. Replaced that with a known good one off a running engine with no codes and I still see that #43. This sucks. I plan to boost in a few months. I need to get this **** cleared up.
