I just installed a new headgasket on my ls/vtec and when i started it up nothing leaks. But when the car gets warmed up i see oil dripping from under the cam gears. So i put some high temp silicone on the corners of the valve cover and waited approx 14 hours and started it back up. After about 5-10 mins of idleing I saw oil dripping again from under the cam gears.
Could it be my cam seals????
Or is it maybe the silocone didnt fully dry and it gets melted when the car gets warmed up???
Please help me I miss my LS/VTEC
TIA

arent the cam seals on the same side as the cam gears???
And isnt the vtec solenoid gasket on the distrub. side??

You can get away without any leaks even if you don't Honda Bond or high temp RTV the valvecover gasket... I'm still thinking the cam seals unless ur valvecover gasket is bad or you didn't Honda Bond the outer cam caps... Get it checked out, oil running all over the cam gears and then transfering to your timing belt is just going to wear it out faster... Latez
