Default help with building H23 for 94 Civic

hey everyone.....i currently have a stock (except for exterior stuff) 94 civic DX...the only motor that is goin in this car is an H23...i recently recieved an H23 block from one of my friends (JDM SLEEPER)....i would appreciate it yall could give me your advice on what kind of rebuild parts i should buy for the best performance....i was goin to do an H23vtec but decided to just go with a completly built up h23 all motor....if you can help with the kinda of tranny, pistons, rods, cams, cam gears, throttle body, ect. i would really appreciate it...i want this thing to be a beast ....any advice is greatly appreciated along with tips.....im goin to get the HASPORT mount kit for it...thanks

Why are you giving up on the H22 VTEC head? Thats probably the best upgrade you can make for your car. By doing that you also get the aftermarket backing that H22 has (valvetrain) which is better than the H23. just my 2 cents.
