Default Help with brake caliper

I tried to change the rear brake pads on my 92 civic hatchback SI. All went well until I tried to set the piston back into the caliper. I used a needle nose plier like normal and tried to turn the piston clock wise to make it go in, but it would not turn.

Did the piston freeze on me or am I doing it wrong? I know that its not the ones that you use a C clamp on.

Any advice or help would be great. Thank You!
