i did a compression test on my gsr turbo and it went 135 135 90 135 i miss shifted from 3rd to 2nd any ideas on what could be the problem besides the valves.

now its time for a leak down test. usually when that happens your motor rpms shoot up through the roof depend ing on at what rpm you misshifted, sometimes causing more damage than just valves... my friend was racing his supra and did the same thing you did, now he has a hole through his block

 

could have broke some guides also, maybe valve touched a seat, there is alot to go wrong.

 

im in the process of pulling the head what are some of the signs when guides are broken, and the seat touched

 

make sure the belt didn t jump before u condem anything

 

the Belt is perfect so im hoping its only the valves

 

time to pull the head and face the nightmare
