Default Help! Bent valves, any recommendation on machine shops and what to do?

2000 GSR head, have a few bent valves. Looking for a machine shop that will do a good job for a decent price, if not really really cheap would also be nice. Here are my reasons for needing a machine shop, maybe some of you can prove this wrong.

Need to check valve guides, is this necessary? Why?
Recut the valves to match the head, is this necessary? Why?
And what other parts do I need to replace? Valve guide seals?

First time taking off the head and doing this much work on a motor, so any inputs would be greatly appreciated.
