Default Help with B18C

Im rebuilding a GSR.. and want to take the crank out to get balanced and replace the crank pully. any tips or tricks to break that bold loose with the tools I have

Depends what kind of tools you have.

People try so many ghetto *** workarounds to get the crank pulley bolt out, as though it takes some exotic $2k tool.

I just zapped one out today with a Harbor Freight 1/2" impact gun within two hits, but I also know that I was the last one who put it on and I used anti seize for just this reason.

If your stuck with hand tools, the right one is easy to find and is cheap:

Also in conjunction with the pulley holding tools posted, I find this a nice addition for hand tool only setups like mine.

Also, I moved this thread to Tech/Misc being as it stands now, it doesn't really correlate to machine shop type engine building work which the sub forum you posted in is dedicated to.
