ive done a b16a2 swap in my ek ,its all in every thing is done the car turns over BUT will not start ,the fuel pump does not prime /so i put a live from the battery to the fuel pump turned the key ,it was getting fuel to the injectors but they was not letting fuel into the engine .
also when i turn the key the engine check light dose not come on .
i was told i was the imob on the obd2a ecu so ive got a p28 and ive got a jumper harness on its way just to see if it is ,but i still think it could be somthing els as some other guy is having the same problem as me in a eg obd1 with no imob on.

Check all your grounds - I have had many grounds give problems - should be a ground coming out of the harness above tranny on the backside that goes to a 10mm bolt behind the starter - add a ecu ground from the corner screw to chassis ground - there should be one from chassis to tranny on frontside and also head to upper radiator support - I know it is not likely your problem but I spent a week trying to figure out why my car would not start and the problem was the ground coming out of the harness - I have also had a 4000rpm rev limit issue which was the ecu ground - but all in all good luck
