Help!!! B16 Bogs And Shuts Off At Idle???
I need help, I have a b16 with minor bolt ons, it had been running fine till now. Car starts and runs like a champ at normal speeds and even if i floor it... but when i stop and the car is idling it bogs and shuts off, no codes. I've had people tell me what they thought it was, I changed out the distributor, cap, and rotor, and the map sensor, now they are telling me to try and change the throttle position sensor and/or the idle control sensor, can this be the source of the problem???
Don't think my bolt ons would be the problem cause it was working fine before, but this is what they are im, cai, headers, exhaust, fr, fpr, high-volume fuel pump, and a v-tec controller that has not been adjusted in any way, have it hooked up but haven't got it tuned yet and i never fucked wit it other than v-tec engagement.... I don't know what the fp is set at but a local shop has my car at the moment and they said the fuel is fine, it isn't rich or lean....

what year b16 what car? no codes.... you sure the cel works?? Also, check the timing, make sure you didnt skip a tooth, and try advancing the dizzy a bit
at first the car wouldn't start at all, the timing was already set according to the bible (Haynes Repair Manual), not sure if the cel works, and its a b16a2 in a 96 civic coupe
