Default HELP!!! 4.7 FD Installation Problems

Having problems with the installation of the 4.7 FD on my 96 JDM ITR tranny (with stock 4.4FD).
The 4.7 FD kit, which I got, came with the final drive ring gear and countershaft only.
My needle bearing would not fit the newly installed 4.7FD.
Can anyone help me with the installation?

I'm pretty sure as I recall, the countershaft is a different size between the two. You will need the larger bearing, but I am not sure of how you could go about getting it being that I believe it only came in the JDM ITR's.....

Well, mine is a JDM ITR tranny 96 spec, which comes with a 4.4FD.
The bearing I have on my tranny does not seem to fit the 4.7FD.
That is my problem.

Did you read what I wrote? I did this "conversion" about two years ago. I recall my kit CAME WITH a new bearing. The old bearing WILL NOT fit. You will need to get the larger bearing, I'm just not sure of what/where to order it.
