will i find a dash harness wiring diagram in the shop manual or do i have to buy the electrical troubleshooting book as well

 

Yes its in the shop manual. Sort of... It's just not all in one place; each system has its own circuit drawing. You gotta find the clock & then look somewhere else for the ventilation fan, then look someplace else for the A/C switch, someplace else for the radio...

I don't have the electrical troubleshooting book. Maybe its all in one place in that book?

 

You will only need the shop manual for electrical.
It will cover the dash harness for sure.
Electrical is the largest section in the shop manual.
I have the electrical troubleshooting for my car as well, but it wasn't worth it.
The schematics are more spread out, and they tried using totally different schematic format that is confusing imo.
