Default Heater won't work after swap

my heater won't work after my swap. Seems like the bar won't slide all the way to hot.
It physically does, but it seems like it isn't catching or something.

I thought there was something i needed to bend, but can't remember. Piccs would help if possible, thnx.

that bar has a cable attached to it which runs into the engine bay and opens and closes a gate which allows or blocks coolant from entering the heater core, Sounds like when you were moving the hoses around you may have damaged it or pinched it.
