Default Heater Stopped Working

I have a 04 Pilot and my front blower motor suddenly stopped working. The rear blower works fine and I can adjust the fan speed in the back using the fan control for the front. I have checked the fuses which are OK. I removed the blower motor and hooked it up to power, which the fan turned on. Also, I removed the blower motor relay from the fuse box and barely pressed it into the female contacts. The relay made a 'click' upon engaging with the female end so I believe that it is working properly. Not sure where to go from here. Any input would be appreciated.

Yes, I have a multimeter. Would a faulty resistor cause the entire front blower to stop working?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it can.

The blower motor should have 12V+ going to it when ign. is turned on, the ground is supplied by the blower speed switch, either directly, [full speed] or through resistors for slower speeds, remount blower and plug in, find which is the 12V+ lead and then supply a ground to the other lead/terminal using a jumper lead from chassis ground. if blower works, [full speed] replace blower resistor. 94

It worked! I ran a ground wire to the chassis and the blower motor kicked on full blast. Looks like I will be replacing the blower resistor.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks again fcm, I installed the blower motor resistor/transistor and the heater fan now works. I hope this info will help someone else.
