heater/ac doesnt work
Start by checking for power at the blower motor plug, should be live when ign. switch is in run position.
MM&Y of car would help, da9 means nothing to me, either does, "Bump same problem here".
The blower motor power lead will probably be blue/white or blue/red, the ground will probably be blue/black, it is the ground lead that is switched, blower motor on/off speed switch supplies a ground directly to blower motor for full speed and a ground through 1 resister for 3rd speed, 2 resisters for 2nd speed and 3 resisters for 1st speed, the resisters are in the blower resister pack mounted into the heater box just to the left of blower and from above, remove pass, side lower trim and glove box for easy access to both the blower resister pack and blower motor power/ground plug, at this point you do not need to remove the control head, testing can be done at the blower motor plug and the blower resister pack plug.
You should not have to take anything apart to access the blower motor power/ground plug, unplug it and test for power, [ign. switch in run] if you have power, plug it back in and test for ground on the other lead, or if you have power on one of the leads, use a jumper lead to supply a ground to the other lead, ground one end of the jumper to any ground point and stuff the other end into the plug, [ground lead side], if blower motor does not turn on, replace motor, if on the other hand it does turn on, pull lower trim and glove box for access to blower resister pack and test for a ground on 4 of the leads as you go through the 4 speeds of the switch, each speed will ground one of the leads, if no grounds, pull control head and test for input ground to the switch. 94

thanks for the comments guys! i fixed the problem. i took it to my cousin's shop and tested if it was still giving power to the blower motor. it was giving power but the blower motor was bad. i replaced it and it works now, but the first speed for the air doesn't work but the rest do. i was told it was one of the resistor? not a biggie but as long as i have heat for the winter, i'm all good!
