Default heat problem

Ok this is going to be a crazy question, I have a 95 honda civic ex with the d-15 sohc and the inside of the car get pretty hot I change out the Thermostat to see if that may help but no I have clue what else it could be any idea what it could be

my friend had similar problem, it wasn't getting extremely hot but still, his gear shifter cover and close to it area was getting pretty hot

the problem was lack of metal bit isolating the exhaust from the car's floor

it might be something different in your case

Check if the heat is coming from the air ducts.It's easy to check,just start and worm up the car and try to work the selector lever hot to cold and see if the air goes from hot to cold .Hondas use a valve to allow the coolant to pass through the heater core.You might have the valve stuck in open position or the control cable is broken or out of position.The selector lever should move freely.

Ok am having that same problem agian when i get into my car I can feel heat coming form somewhere.But i do have the heat off and all the vent close but i can't think where is coming from any help out there
