Default Headlight adjustment

Does anyone have a good way to adjust headlights at home? Since I lowered my car I have not had the same visible range as I used to.
Any help or direction would be great!

Park your car in front of a garage door about 10 feet away, make sure the front of your car is parrallel to the door. Turn on your headlights, it would help to do this at sunset/dusk. The adjusting part is pretty subjective, raise them a little at a time until they are at the desired level. Remember that a 1'' adjustment can be a 1' adjustment farther away from the car. I hope this can get you started in the right direction. Later!
