Default headgasket symptons

Hey
had a few quick questions about head gasket symptons?
car has a bad start up problem shop told me bad headgasket because water was getting on the plugs. i checked the plugs several times after the bad startup found no water.
im not losing coolant
no mixing of coolant/oil i know it doesnt always mix but i have clean fluids.
no bubbles in the reservoir cold or hot running
no smoke at all

things i found when i remove radiator cap when car is cold it has pressure not ALOT but has pressure.
coolant slowly pours out of the radiator neck when i do a cold start with cap off.
coolant doesnt really bubble but it moves moves up and down more than i would like it too.

car runs great no misfire no shaking smooth acceleration.

lmk what you guys think

new thermostat
water pump is not leaking
no air in system

Do a leak down test. That will tell you alot, then you can go from there

If you had water leaking into the cylinder there would be white smoke all over. Do you see oil in your coolant? Other than the mechanic telling you that it has a bad head gasket i would just drive the car until 1 of the symptoms starts to become apparent.

drive it tell the wheels fall off, thats a great motto. I think he would rather fix the issue before it causes other damage.

I didn't really mean that, but you don't wanna put money into something unless you know you have a problem. I think a better motto is... If it's not broken don't fix it. Start up problems could be fuel/ignition related.

I agree completly, but a leak down will tell you for sure if you have a leaky gasket. and if he doesnt then he can look else where
