Default headgasket quickie

Just realized i didnt put the oil control orifice in

motor has not been used yet, just put the head on last night

am i screwed with the headgasket or can i salvage it...i know the right way is to get a new one but im kind of strapped for cash right now..TIA

but i have way too much into this motor to let something stupid like this screw it up

any other opinions?

Face it you got to pull the head off to put them in.

I heard that people have re-used headgaskets with very low or no engine use on them with success but then again for every one of those people there about 5 that say no way.

What id do.... Id give it a shot and give and it a compression check .
Whats it going to hurt, nothing except for your spare time if yu end up having to replace it.
