i have a question and i was wondering what the diffrence between the b16a and the b18c head gasket and will a b16a one fit on a b18c or is the b18c have bigger bore size than the b16. the only reason i was wondering is because i have a honda dealership about 1 block away from my house and they have one in stock, the nearest acura dealership is about 45 miles away and has to order one and it usually takes those bf's about 3 weeks to get one and i need one today that is why i was wondering about the alternitives... i didnt think it would work but its worth a try any information would be much appreciated

 

The B16A and B18C have the same head gasket. Same bore and same oil and coolant passages.

Hey do you know the diffrences between the vtec headgasket and the ls gaskets?

 

yea the ls headgasket and vtec basically very diffrent head gasket. for example the dowl pins are located on the oppisite side of the block from the b18b and the b18c also oil passages are diffrent the ls headgasket doesnt have a hole for the oil passage on the vtec head and it has these copper rings on the ls that are in diffrent places on the b18c headgasket. water passage lines are pretty much the same that is about it.
