----hEaDeR TeCh 4-1 HEADER----
Here are some pictures of one of the best manifolds offered for the B-Series motors. It is about half the price of the Hytech headers, and a couple hundred cheaper than SMSP, while still maintaining just as good of quality, if not better. The pictures I will show you will prove that the quality backs up this product.
Enzo and Red are the co-owners of Header Tech in Bayshore, NY. They have been working on their B16/B18C 4-1 header for a while now and have come up with a design that gives them the best low end torqu/hp while still giving them outstanding high-end horsepower. In fact, their cheaper mild steel version of this header still pumped out about 5hp at the wheels over the renowned DC Sports JDM 4-1 header. Just imagine using their stainless steel high flow merge header like the one that I got.
As far as their company goes, they are truly awsome. I first heard about them a couple months ago, and I was so impressed that I ordered a header and had it shipped to me within such a short period of time. The header is just amazing. I wanted nothing but the best for my type R swap and I am not dissapointed one bit with this $700 header I bought.

Tell them Kevin sent you. They will probably hook u up with a deal if enough of you call and say you liked the looks of my header and you want one just like it. It doesn't hurt to ask them. Enzo is always workin up deals and trying to make more headers and more horsepower.

Here Are Some Pics of me tearing the header up from the backside. Showing it a little love. This header has got the Badonkadonk!!! OH SNAP!!!!! Enzo never thought he'd made a header that can be used as a blow up doll too. Beware, the collector has been known to bite.

You know I need seconds. I aint no one pump chump.

56k'rs Beware. lol

are you going to run a 3" exhaust or did you get the 2.5" step down pipe that they also sell? I've been looking into this header myself.

I love this header, but my friend had it on his car and isnt even that low, and he literally flattened the lower runners in the normal header spot. So, if your running this, watch your ride height, its an expensive mistake.
Stevel....I am running the Invidia full catback exhaust. Piping size is 60mm, so about 2 3/8". I was going to run a 3" exhaust, but it was too loud for my liking.
As far as clearance goes, this header has a little bit better clearance than any DC sports 4-1 header. It's just that it costs twice as much and would be a hassle to fix or replace.

cool. do you know how the fitment is gonna be? Since it doesn't mate up to any stock locations I was wondering how the fitment is going to be Have you mounted the header yet and are you gonna run a cat or just a testpipe? Oh, also did you get that 2.5" step down piece from them or you just gonna bolt up something to it that's smaller. Just wondering what you're gonna do under there for a set up. Thanks man!

Stevel,
Header Tech did provide me with the 3" to 2.5" conversion cone with that flange welded on it so it will bolt up to their collector on their header. I was going to put the header on my motor when its installed, and then see how much gap I have between my header and catback exhaust. Then, I was going to have 2.5" stainless tubing welded to the 2.5" side of the conversion cone to fit up the rest of the gap for where the stock cat used to be. It's pretty straightforward. Their header did the best wtih the 3" collector, but unfortunately, i am just going to run a 2.5" catback. I doubt I will lose that much top end.
So yea, You can make anything fit underneath your car. The header is supposedly perfect fitting under the car. It hugs the oil pan and allows no space or doesnt sit extremely low like some do. They made it fit the best a header can possibly fit under there being a 4-1 header.
peace, Kevin

cool man. thanks for the info. get some pics up when you have it installed. I'm interested to see how much longer this header is than a jdm 4-1 when under the car.

My B18C5 is going to be dropped in this weekend. We test fitted the Header Tech header to it and it litterally sits tucked in there. It is about 1" lower than the oil pan. Truly Awsome. It is a perfect fit. Nothing is off or not right at all. It is meant to be there.
