Default Header heat wrap

Sup guys. I'm getting a header soon and going to heat wrap it. It is going to be put on an Acura RSX 02.

-What do you think about heat wraps?
-How do you put it on?
-Will water affect it after it cures? It kinda rain alot here. Thanks!

Its expensive, its ugly, and its horrible to put on. I have put it on two seperate headers and finally wised up. Send whatever you are wrapping to get coated. That is my opinion.

Coating with a thermal barrier is better. Try Jet-Hot.

keeps the temp down in engine bay, smokes for awhile when first put on some say gives added hp but who knows, why you worried about water affecting it? if your hoods closed it souldnt bother it

unless your making lots of hp and are worried about 1-2-3 hp then you wrap it. If not then dont waste the money
