Default header for b16/cams?

What header would one recommend for a ported b16 head w/ skunk2 stage2 cams? maybe a few ideas? b20 block is in the works for later down the road, so i'd like to keep that in mind for fitment purposes.

thanks guys.

Wait untill you get the longblock setup finished as optimum header efficiency is defined in part by cylinder volume...

buying a GOOD header for a 1.6 block will yield different results for a 2.0

ok that makes sence thanks. Should I aim for a high comp b20vtec which header is ideal? or should a turbo come into play for low comp, what about those circumstances...?

For a 2-liter VTEC setup, I'd recommend an SMSP B20/VTEC piece. In the case of a low-compression turbo setup, you'll be shopping for a turbo manifold, not a header.

SMSP is Stadulis Motor Sports Products, a company that offers high-performance exhaust components. Here is a link to the company website: http://SMS-Products.com/

My familiarity of forced-induction components isn't terribly extensive, and I would suggest searching and posting in the F/I forum for that sort of information. I can tell you, however, that there are indeed differences in quality and performance among the various turbo manifolds, so it will behoove you to research thoroughly before you make a selection.

Right on man , thanks a bunch for the information. Research is something that kind of comes with the territory of a new project, and I look forward to what I may learn.
Thanks again *
