Head stud question

if a B series head has been drilled for half inch head stud will it work with normal size head studs

this question is a no brain-er if they drill it out and make it bigger why would the smaller head stud fit use some brain power come on

LOL, I just bored my block to 89mm, but I'm using stock 84mm pistons....winning!
