ok folks heres my question i have a 2000 b18c1 i bent the valves on it racing a m3 on the freeway. so now im building it back up with after market up grades, heres the thing i was told by a friend that i had to reserface the head befor it goes back on the block or can i just bolt the head back on, also whats the pros and cons of reserfacing?????????

 

more of a guarantee of it mating up/ sealing properly

also, if you mill enough, it will up your compression a bit
