Default head options

ok i need to replace the cylinder head on my d16a6 engine out of a 90 crx si. what are my options as far as staying obd 0 (without doing mini me). i wanna have the same hp or more. basically i need to know what car i can get a head out of that will work on my car without any big mods.

You can put just about any D series head on your A6 and still stay obd0.

If you put a d16y8 head on your a6 block, it will raise compression and maybe give you a little bit more power. Then later on down the line you can hook vtec up. Nice part is, is that your distributor from the A6 will bolt right on it. The Z6 head has a differnt bolt pattern for the distributer.

Otherwise, just find a 88-91 Si,DX or SOHC ZC head for your A6. They are all the same heads with different cams. The DX having the worst cam for power and the ZC having the best.
