could anyone give me some tips or steps to changing the head gasket on my 91 si

TIP: get a shop manual for your car from http://www.helminc.com - or for a '91 and if you look real hard, you can probably find one online.

there is a certain procedure to taking the head off, and if you dont go by the procedure then there will be future warping problems.

Have a lot of patience. The head gasket will be baked on there good, and it's paper. So you'll be doing a lot of scraping. Just don't freak out and start smashing it with a BFH or something.
