Default Head being rebuilt Questions for Tri-state

I dropped a valve in my b16, and pulled the head, good thing the block is still legit.
Anyways, I don't have the slightest idea on how to rebuild a head, yet alone block, the farthest i touch is the head gasket.
Can anybody reccomend me to any person in the NY/NJ/PA area on getting my head rebuilt.
I want a oem type, maybe a little more aggressive is money permits, I got 3k to spend on the whole motor.
I was told to do lsvtec, but I don't know if i want to sacrifice reliability for a little more power.
thanks for the help
