Having Problems with Rotor/Pad install and the Pin Boot not moving.
I am installing new rotors and pads and having problems with the rear pin boot (the bolt that connects the two parts of the caliper together). It doesnt seem to want to compress like the other one and I cant get it down. Because of this i cant get the rotor to fit between the pads. The other one went on easy. I have already screwed the piston screw thingy all the way down so that it has went back in the boot, you cant even see the damn thing anymore! Any help needed would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance guys.. I am about to have a "come apart" here
EDIT: Hrm......are the pads sitting flush against the caliper?

Or you can just buy a brand new bracket all together and some new pins put it all together and your done...!!
Hope this helps.

It is very posible that the pin inside the bracket that holds the caliper around the rotor has rusted up and seazed. If you want to fix it you need to find some way of pulling the pin out and than cleaning all of the rust inside the hole on the bracket and than buy yourself a couple of new pins and throw the rusted one away...

I had the same problem... It was causing the car to pull slightly to the opposite side under high speed braking
