Default harshness of spherical bearings on the street?

I got all excited over the Competition Engineering front LCAs when I found them. The prospect of removing 24lbs of unsprung weight... that would improve ride quality and traction quite a bit, at about the cost of a CF hood. I would have to get end link tabs welded onto them. But then I noticed that they use spherical bearings. So how harsh would that be on the street? Much worse than urethane I suppose.
