Default Halfshaft Problems

Yeah so I got burned for a b-series halfshaft that came from a car with an automatic transmission. The mounting bracket doesn't line up with the block. Is there anyway I can put the manual bracket on the automatic shaft? It comes as a separate piece than the shaft itself on the dealership's parts computer. Would this be more trouble than its worth messing wit the bearing and all, or should I just suck it up and buy another? Thanks in advance...

take it to a machine shop to press out and put the manual halfshaft bracket on it.

Nevermind...I priced the bracket itself today...its more expensive than finding a used one.
