Yeah my buddy travis has a usdm h23 block with type s pistons and a jdm h22 head. Its almost together now. He had ot together and running then he decided he wants higher comp, and some cams, also to do rings and such so he tore it apart again. Hes in the military and is only home every other weekend to work on it, so its taking a while.

yep, do a search on LS/VTEC or B20 VTEC, it's pretty much the same topic on doing frankenstein type motors.

actually i did one personally, it's not anywheres close to a ls/vtec etc....

it's much simpler. you don't need to run external oilines. and such

h22a head
h22a thermostat assembly
h22a water pipe
h22a lower crank gear
h22a headbolts
h22a timing belt
h22a waterpump
h22a powersteering braket
h22a intake manifold
h22a colant lines (TB and IM)
H22a spark plug wires
h22a ecu

everyting else fits from the h23.

after you spend all the money for the little gains you get, do something else and don't bother..
