I'm having possible transmission problems. No matter what gear I'm in as I run through VTEC, I get this weird noise. It sounds like my transmission is spolling up. Thats the best way I can describe it.

My mechanic told me that I should just get a new transmission but I dont have enough money for an H22 transmission. I was leaning towards buying an F22 tranny and trying to change 1st and 2nd gears over from the H23 and keeping the rest from the F22. Does anyone know how to do this or even if it will work?
