H22A4 Rebuild
I have a H22A4 that came from a 98 SH and 5 speed tranny from a 97 base model.
1. Will these two go together without modification?
2. Will the SH model engine fit my 97 civic without the oil filter housing hitting the firewall? ( Had the 97 base model engine but I swapped it out with my friend that was doing a swap on a 95 accord, oil filter housing was hitting the firewall.
3. Want to get oversized Type S pistons, I know you need to hone it but what about the lining in the cylinder wall?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

no the sh engine is junk for a swapped engine.
it will not fit in a civic
(well if you have the a4 with the oil filter off to the side instead of center)
but the transmission will bolt up.....
