just put in 95 h22a into my civic and it wont go into reverse, but goes into 1st-5th gear fine.... i thought it was the cables but wont go manually with out cables hooked up. need to get it fixed...and i bought the swap from hmotorsonline.....thanks

 

What cables are you talking about? Does it go into gear and the car not move or it won't even go into the reverse gear position? Are there any grinding noises or anything like that?

 

My friend had the same problem in his 99 Prelude. But it was an intermitent problem. Sometimes reverse would work and sometimes it wouldn't.

 

What mount kit are you using?

 

i am using hasport mounts and i took the drivers side mount off so the cables are not hitting anything and it wont grind or anything won't go in at all....thanks

 

oops i mean i took the passenger side mount off

 

well fixed the problem and all i did was changed the tranny fluid with GM Synchromesh Transmission Fluid and it works great now....
