Hey I have an h22 in my accord and when I shift from 1st to 2nd and just about rev limit I drop out of vtec and it takes a secong to kick in. Anybody have any ideas of why its like that or is that just how h series motors are ?

 

Low oil pressure?

Wrong Tranny?

Shifting too early?

 

I shift at like 7800 so I dont think I shift too early and as for the tranny im not sure, the number on the tranny is h2a8

 

Nobody has an idea?

 

you sure you got the right number on the tranny.... i have never seen a h2a8...

hell my old h22 auto would stay in vtec when it shifted.. where does vtec come in on your car

 

did you reuse your accord tranny or are you using the lude tranny?

 

I bought the motor from hmotorsonline.com complete motor and tranny. So i should have the right tranny on there but I dont know for sure, the number is h2a8 and I have never heard of it and everybody else who ive talked to never heard of it
