H22 vs VQ30DE
Check out this thread from Maxima.org. It compares the Dynographs from the H22a and the nissan VQ30DE.
I think our honda 4cyl holds its own pretty well compared to the V6.

It definitely holds its own pretty well. There are a few things that really stand out in this comparison. First of all, torque is MUCH closer than the 3.0 liter vs 2.2 liter displacement difference would seem to indicate. In other words, the H22A makes MUCH better use of its displacement. Secondly, the RPM separation between peak power on the H22A vs VQ30DE is not nearly as great as one might expect between a 2.2 liter four cylinder engine and 3.0 liter V6 making the same power. And power output drops like a rock after peak on the VQ30DE while the H22A holds fairly close to peak power for what appears to be several hundred RPM above its power peak. Let's also not forget about the superior performance aftermaket of the H22A compared to the Nissan VQ30DE AND the ability to swap the H22A into light Civics (What light car are you going to swap the VQ30DE into, a Sentra? YEAH, RIGHT!!!).

Okay here's what I don't get....using 100% normalized rpms is ridiculous.....
The whole point of the differences in performance stems from where the power is made......it's not very representative..
