could someone list a complete parts list ill need, and i hear theres problems with some mounts (place racing, hasport) where custom axels need to be made. also which actual jdm prelude motor comes with the LSD trans, and how well do theses do NA sleeved and bored. im more of a bseries guy but am thinking about this swap.

 

The parts list is exactly the same has for a b-series swap. They do very well na, they also happen to LOVE nos. People have problems breaking alxles, a lot of times, this can attributed to bad suspension setup. With the car sitting, the axles should be fairly straight from tranny to hub, I have seen questionable installs and I've seen good ones. Some mounts kits leave room for adjustement so you can get it right, vehicle ride height plays a big part here. Also, my friend had gsr axles with prelude inner joints, they never broke. Using accord and first gen integ axles is retarded. 1st gen integs have d series engines, the axles are not good enough. Type S prelude came with lsd's, I dont know if it was standard or an option.

 

i have hasport mounts... and as for the axles breaking... so far so good. The person who built my car used (4) different axles to make (2) complete. Sick, but they hold up well... even under the occasional/unexpected wheel hop (NT-555 drag radials).

H22 will rip apart any b series. I know this from experience, racing other eg's with b series motors (yes, even C5 motors).

And yes, they respond very good to Nitrous.

what axels do you use micro? and i thought thatthe regular jap. prelude came with LSD too, the H22a?

 

yes, the h22a has lsd... i was one of the fortunate ones to actually get a LSD VTEC tranny with my swap.

I'll chec on the axle question... because i do not know off hand.
