h22 crank no start
started fine before, when it was really cold it would start choppy and i’d hold the throttle for it to clear up. now it’s no start, no cel, my tach isn’t reading the cranking rpms idk if that is normal. my shop teacher says no spark, check crank sensor, what do you guys think
If you do not have bright blue spark, the engine may not actually run. Consider a coil replacement (cheaper cost) although the problem with the tachometer is likely caused by a faulty ICM. Purchase the same brand as what came stock in the distributor... likely a TEC or Hitachi.
it still doesn’t start. it has spark and fuel. compression is pretty low in cyl 2, 90, while the others are 150. my next move i think is buying a new coil for it. lmk if you have any suggestions
Why does it have low compression in all four cylinders ? If you did the compression test correctly, one cylinder will NOT run and the other three will be suspect.

not sure i’ve done a compression test before and all of the cylinders were 150 now cyl 2 is 90 but i was under the impression it should still run with those results
