I figured I would post here since I don't know where else to post. Yesterday it seems like my ballast went out. I checked all the bulbs and they look fine. I don't hear a humming from it anymore like I do on the other side. Is my assumption correct? Is there any place I can take it to find out of it really is toast?

 

Swap your ballasts side to side, then you will unequivocally know for sure.

 

I just fried one of mine also. Not cheap to replace either, i'm still lookign for a new one. Like stated above just swap it to the other side or swap bulbs and ull find out if it works or not.

 

check your grounds and fuses. and i have a Philips 6000k kit FS if you need it.

 

all the bulbs are working and none of the fuses are blown. i am at this point assuming it is toast just due to the fact there isn't a hum anymore. can these ballast be rebuilt? as projectpsi said, these aren't cheap and I don't have an extra 150 laying around.

Wanna sell just the ballasts? ill take one hell take the other.

 

i was trying to sell the whole kit, but if you PM me an offer i'll definately consider it
