Guys i need help Big TIME!!!!!
I recently did a swap, putting a jdm b18c1 in my 1993 hatch (DX non-vtec). We finished the swap fast and easy. (we wired new wires from the ecu to the vtec pressure switch and the silonoid). When i drove it the first time and hit vtec, WOW the car flew. I loved it. After i punched the car about 3 times. The Check engine light turnd one. Also the car was now ideling at 2500 rpm. Now when i punched the car the rpm would rise slower and it would take a long time to hit vtec.
HELP PLEASE !!!!
HELP PLEASE !!!!
there is a little plug that sits under your pass. side dash (right above the ecu)...
It's a 2 wire connector that doesn't plug into anything else (just a plastic holding bit on mine). you jump (put a paper clip in both holes) the clip...
you then turn the accesory power on and count the blinks of the check engine light...
They should be fast then slow or slow then fast can't remember... but you count each group... the first group (of flashes be it fast first or slow first) is the first number... the second group is the second number...
So for example if it blinks fast 2 times then slow 7 times you have thrown code 27... got it...
If that's not clear enough I'm sure someone else can provide a clearer discription or probobly pics.
