VTEC not working!?!?!?
just swapped a d16z6 into my 92 lx sedan , it was already prewired for vtec ( orand white, orange blue wires on teh ecu to shock tower harness) when i take the engine up to about 5k rpm's i can feel a power diffrence also i cant hear hte vtec engage. my check engine light is on but i dont know how to check the codes, i used a paper clip in the plug under my dash above the ecu but it turned the engine light off instead of flashing it. should i feel the vtec engage, i've heard on the d series its hard to hear but shouldnt i feel it?? any help would b great

English motherfuc..... do you speak it?!
When you tried to pull the codes, did you turn the key to the off position, then jump the service connector, then turn the key to the on position, and then watch the CEL?

To check for codes you probalally didn't put the paper clip in the right way, on the two prong plug there is actually four holes you can stick the paper clip into just try all the combinations till you get it. You will not feel or hear the vtec on the d series engines.
