Default Guru's i need help, code 4

i took my motor out last year to freshen it up, and now its back in, and i got a code 4 (crank angle sensor), its a b16 w/ gsr head, obd1, p28 ecu, the only thing i changed was whoever did the swap before me used butt connectors on the 2-wire plug on the distributor

i soldered those ones, and now i get a code, the wires are in the right place

i also upgraded from a msd 6a to msd digital 6 plus, and added a blaster coil

now my friends have told me too:

1. flip the wires on the coil

2.new ignitor

3.pull the distributor, rotate, and re-install

do you have any suggestions? the main problem is there is no vtec, and it runs funny

thanks
