Guage cluster guru's...got a ? for ya

what do the amplifiers do on the back of guage clusters?

they all seem to have one...

I would think your reffering to the heatsinks.

no, according to HELMs, amplifiers. here's pics from both my 1990 and 1987 manuals, all guage clusters have them...
