Default GSR vtec help in a 94 eg hatch....?

Im having sort of a frustrating dilemma, i can not figure out why my vtec is not working in my gsr hatch. I have ran all the wires 3433242342 times and checked the pin outs on the ECU 3432423423 times and still no vtec... does anybody have any advice??? its making me really angry.. also i have a chipped p72 chipped ecu does that change the gsr vtec engagement from 4400 to something higher? or does it depend on how my ECU is chipped? thanks in advanced

it depends on how your ecu is chipped.. find out where it's adjusted to hit... maybe that'll help you...

Maybe it is way up there. Ask who ever chipped your ecu where VTEC engages or you can always wire up a VAFC to find out where the VTEC is engaging.

do you have a check engine light? if so find out what it is.
make sure your oil is full. make sure you have enough coolant.

yea its throwing a check engine light, one of the reason is no o2 sensor the other reason was the code for the vtec solenoid so I figure ok change out the solenoid reset the ECU go lay mad vtec well nooooooooooooo the vtec gods hate me , the code reset after switching the solenoids but than returned ? so im like um ok my ECU is shitly chipped (chipped p72) so i change it out with a b16a1 ecu still no vtec however i am leaking coolant? i have been filling it up and havent had the time to figure out where its from, somewhere by the thermostat i didnt know that coolant affected it? im new to hondas mainly a nissan guy before i appreciate any help any1 can give me thanks

oh man this happened to me too. the wiring was all correct. i tried EVERYTHING. then one day i got this crazy idea to check pin A4(VTEC) on the ECU plug. turns out that it was not making contact with the ECU therefore causing me to throw the VTEC solenoid code. So I just pushed the small metal tab inside the plug with a small flat head and it finally made contact with the ecu pin, and my code went away.

Your running with no 02 sensor... theres your answer. Why are you worried about VTEC? Fix the o2 sensor first!!!!
