Im installing my new Victor X manifold on my gsr- i went to install the fuel rail, but I noticed the hose that runs from the fuel filter to the fuel rail isn't long enough anymore. Did all of you guys have the same problem or is it just me? If you did, how did you fix it? I already tried loosening it and turning it around but it still won't reach. Any ideas?

You need to extend the fuel line from filter to rail. Also you will need to bend FPR to fit the hose back on. Or it will be a very tight squeeze.

I thought I'd have to extend the line, but how? The rubber section is crimped to hardline on both sides. Do I replace the whole hose with rubber? But then how do I connect t to the banjo bolt?

The ls one is long enough?
If I go with the barbed fitting route, I don't have to worry about leaks due to the pressure or anything right? It's a walbro 255 with 1000cc injectors. Gonna be making 450-500 hp

What I did was just have the place where I went to buy new hoses cut off both ends. And When I reconnected them I just used adjustable hose clamps to clamp them down. No leaks.

So just so il clear and don't fudge anything up, cut off both crimped ends from the hardlines, slip on the new longer hose, and just clamp them down?
