Default GSR/Type-r Piston questions

If i run a GSR block and Type-R pistons...
What Head and what connecting rods should i run with it???
And what kind of compression do people get with the suggested set-ups??
Please no Zealautowerks links....

you can run w/ur gsr head and rods if u want. u onlly have to remove a little bit on the piston end side of rods. any machine shop can do it.

I thought was only if you were putting type r pistons on b16/17 rods ?

the ls and the b16 both have the wider rods,that why alot of people like to put the b16 pistons on the ls rods,cause you dont do any machining. the type r will fit on the gsr with no machining and no clearance issues

look at the 11 one down. thats on jun stage 3's with a milled head. you can do it as long as your cams are degreed,your clearances are right,and you have a hell of a tuned.that one may be race gas i dont know but u can always get a thicker head gasket to get u in the range u want. alot of people dont like them cause theres not alot of room for error but they will make alot of power. its your motor do what u want

in the end its your motor if doing something a little different makes u happy go for it. just do it right. have all the clearances checked,cams degreed,and a great tune with hondata or something.
