OK... I have located a GSR transmission that I can pick up for cheap. Cheap because it has problems... It seems that it originally began by popping out of gear then progressed into not wanting to go into gear. I dont know if he means one particular gear (for example 2nd gear) having all this trouble and the others are fine... I dont really know yet.
My questions are:
1: What might be the problem with this transmission? Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone?
2: Is it fixable? and roughly what cost might be associated with this repair?
3: Is it worth fooling with? and if so, what would be a reasonable price to pay for a transmission in this condition?

I guess ultimately Im trying to ascertain whether or not I can pick this up for cheap then have it repaired and gone through at the same time, and still come away with a good deal in the end.
